Beer Stein with hinged lid

We have begun to explore the Beer Stein from a modern perspective. This is one of our first successful attempts. It features a hinged lid completely assembled from hand formed stainless steel. The drips were created by sprinkling dry, sieved, wood ash on the glazed pot. Made of white stoneware and fired to cone 10 (2300 degrees) in a gas kiln, the glazes feature a satin finish exterior with a tough white glossy glaze inside The piece is signed and dated by the artist. It is fully functional. Dishwasher safe. Furthermore, it is fully warranted against mechanical and material failure and will be replaced or repaired for FREE! It is a truly modern collectors piece and would serve as a wonderful gift! 9" high x 4-1/4 wide.
