Two years ago I learned of new technology that was producing welding machines that could weld in local areas without excess heat. I had cracked many a fine piece in my efforts to wrap stainless steel around cylinders etc. due to too much heat generated by welding with the tig welder. With this new welding technology I could revisit the ability to weld on ceramic and weld with excellent localized detail. I bought the welder. It’s called a “Micro-pulse” welder. It cost a fortune. It opened up new possibilities in welding, hence the detailed work evident in the latest butter dishes and Tea pots.
