Two years ago I learned of new technology that was producing welding machines that could weld in local areas without excess heat. I had cracked many a fine piece in my efforts to wrap stainless steel around ceramic pieces due to excess heat generated by welding with my tig welder. With this new welding technology I found that I could weld on ceramic and weld with excellent localized detail. It’s called a “Micro-pulse” welder. It cost a lot but it opened up new possibilities with my welding, hence the detailed work evident in the latest butter dishes and Tea pots.
